Twizel Area School uses the KAMAR Student Management System. Using the portal, parents and caregivers are able to update their own details, check student results, attendance, and much more!The KAMAR portal can be accessed via a web browser by going to twizel.bridge.school.nz. Sign in with the email address you have registered with the school, this can be an Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo account. Caregivers can also use the Magic Link option allowing you to enter your caregiver email address and a one-time magic login link will then be emailed to you.Students can also access the portal, using their school email address via the Google login page.Once logged in, you will have access to a variety of school-based information relating to your tamariki and rangatahi, including:Calendar: See a monthly calendar of events happening throughout the year.Details: Displays student's name, date of birth, and NSN Number. You are also able to change your contact phone numbers, email, and address.Financial: This shows the current status of the student's school account and what is currently owed. You can pay your account online through internet banking or using your debit/credit card.Attendance: The student's attendance is shown in real-time. This is a weekly display, however, you are able to look back on previous weeks.Results: View NCEA results and credits.Report an Absence: Should your tamariki be unwell or away from school for an appointment, it is easy to let us know through the portal.Reports: Settling-in, mid-year, and end-of-year reports will be available to read & download.Student Leave Request: If caregivers want to take students out of school during term time, they can request this by completing the Student Leave Form.Student-led Conferences: There will be opportunities during the school year for parents/caregivers to meet with their child's teacher or mentor.
