During the camp, students Jack & Fred have had the opportunity to fly solo. This is a huge undertaking and has taken them 18 months of training and study to get to this point. At the conclusion of the camp Tuuliana, Fred and Jack were all awarded the Dick Georgeson Trust Scholarship Award, giving them $400 each towards flying costs. Fred and Jack also received their Solo Pilot Awards and their Solo Badge.
