Room 5 ākonga have been working hard designing their CO2 dragsters, little cars that students can design, build, test, modify and race! The students came up with some concept drawings and developed their ideas with a final design. They then transferred their design onto the block of balsa wood ready to cut out. This week they finally got to go to the workshop to begin cutting them out. Next, they will sand their wood to make it smooth and paint it.
