This week Room 8 has been connecting with our local Twizel Community by looking at the new pipes that are being put in outside the school and around town. We incorporated this with our visit from Nicki Tempero who is working on our digital fluency and various ways it can be used to show their learning. First, they had to draw a picture of a truck in their Seesaw using the drawing tool. Following this, the class went outside with their iPad and used the Seesaw video to record what they saw. Once back into the class they had to create a page in Seesaw showing the video and drawing. The next day they also wrote a story about what they saw using a class word bank that was created.
