Ākonga in Room 13 have started their term 3 topic - Mahika Kai | Where does our food come from? The students began by having a taste test challenge, trying to figure out what the food was and where it came from.


There were lots of foods that the students had not tried before, which made for some interesting experiences (and faces!). 😋 🤢 They tried pine nuts, feta cheese, honey, paw paw, seaweed, coconut, and pastrami.
