In week 7, M1 students made scientific stop motion animations. They used a spinning wheel to choose their groups and each group had to choose a category that their stop motion would be about.

The teams choose the following categories:

  • A star chart
  • Food chains
  • Solar system
  • Black holes
  • Habitats

We got handed out clay, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, colours popsicle sticks and pom-poms. We then took 30 to 150 photos just ever so slightly changing the angle or position, this gives the effect that the objects on the screen are moving. This is a very cool and fun way to do your science project. They are all very impressive.
