Room 13 ākonga have visited the new mural being painted in the Twizel Market Place by international street artist Koryu Aoshima and were amazed by the 33-metre long artwork. Koryu Aoshima is a renowned street artist and has also completed street art in Dunedin, Christchurch and Geraldine. He also won a People’s Choice Award at a street art contest in Bluff in 2021. @koryu88 @koryu88The tamariki from Twizel Area School asked lots of great questions about the Mt Cook lilies, black stilts, salmon, light bulbs, and taniwha! 💡 🏔 🐉 What an awesome addition to the centre of Twizel and something we can be super proud of!
