Room 9 ākonga have enjoyed using their green fingers this week working in He Māra Kai (The Food Garden) at school and in the Community Garden. They planted tomatoes, marigolds, pumpkin, corn and beans in the wicking beds. Over at the Community Garden the students planted rīwai (potatoes) and helped put compost on the garden.Many thanks to Shirley who supplied all the plants and seeds for us!Ka rāwe.
