Ākonga in Room 7 have been focusing on spending a little bit of their time during the day to work on their self-regulation. Room 13 introduced them to 'M3 Mindfulness'. The 3 M's stand for Māori stories, mindfulness and movement. With a current class of 19 five-year-old boys, this has definitely been a great mid-morning break routine to focus on relieving some of the unwanted stress and resetting our bodies after some hard-working maths and reading! Ka Pai boys, you all have really stepped up and had a positive mindset while taking on all the new and challenging activities that this term has bought.
