Head Student Louie Skinner has some updates from around the school to share, including Sheilah Winn and the Junior School class trips to Lake Ōhau.

Kia Ora and welcome everyone to Week 9.

Term One for 2022 is headed into its last few weeks, keep up the hard work everyone! Hope you all are staying safe and healthy in this strange time.

Excitement is rising as Junior School classes are looking forward to trips in the next two weeks out to Lake Ōhau and visiting a monument that represents the story of Te Maiharoa. An important part of our local area's history.

In the Senior School, the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare competition is getting closer, a big thank you to all who have helped with costumes, singing, and props at this final stage. Despite the uncertainty of whether or not the Southern Area Schools tournament will be held this year, many sports teams are practising hard, keep up the strong effort!

Preparations have been made for three students in Year Twelve to partake in the Leadership Camp in Wainui over the holidays, this involves meeting many students and leaders from other Area Schools from all over Aotearoa, I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun.

To all who are sick or isolating at home, take care and we wish you well.

Cheers,
Louie Skinner (Head Student)
