Head Student Louie Skinner has some news to welcome the new term, including Snow Club and Basketball.

Kia ora and welcome back everyone to term 3! It has been a bit of an interesting and exciting start to the term with the new snow, I hope everyone enjoyed the first week back.

Snow club starts up this term, I know some students are very excited to get up the ski field and hit the slopes. Make sure to fill in your permission slips and hand them in each Wednesday. I’m sure it’s going to be an awesome few Fridays and Thursdays for those involved.

Skiing

Basketball continues this term with the teams heading into the 3rd and final round. Good luck with the games and keep on practising. The school Netball team is looking at going to a netball tournament in Timaru in a few weeks' time and are also practising very hard.

Last term was hard with covid with many students and teachers having to take time of school, but now Term 3 has started and it’s a great time to get into it and get work done. Our senior students already only have 3 short months before we go on final exam leave, so make sure you are on track!

Watch out for the ice when coming to school and, to all who are sick or isolating at home, take care and we wish you well.

Cheers
