Deputy Head Student Lily Brophy has news about the Teacher Music Match House Competition and the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival.

Kia ora,

We’re nearing the end of week 8 and I hope everyone has had the best week they can considering everything going on at the moment!

Firstly, I’d like to share the results of the Teacher Music Match house competition held recently. Congratulations to all of those who participated and put in the effort for their house. However, a special congratulations to Ohau for coming out on top!

Results:

  • Ōhau - 40
  • Ruataniwha - 35
  • Pūkaki - 22 (We’ll get ‘em next time guys.)

In other news, Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival rehearsals are in full swing preparing for the competition in Week 10. This year we are entering two groups performing excerpts from Twelfth Night. So, just a heads up, don’t be confused if you see some of your peers roaming the corridors dressed like lords and ladies from the 1600s.

Have a terrific weekend everybody!
