Mask guidelines have changed for schools since the government announcements over the holidays. So, when do you need to wear a mask and socially distance in and around school?

If you are a parent, caregiver or student over the age of 12, the new regulations for schools state that masks must be worn at pick-ups and drop-offs and on school transport. Parents and Caregivers should remain 2m distanced from people outside their family grouping.

For parents and caregivers, you need to wear a mask when visiting the office or having a meeting with teachers.

If you are watching your child participate in a club on school grounds e.g. sports clubs, you need to wear a mask and remain 2m distanced from people outside your family grouping.

Thank you for keeping everyone safe!
