Room 9 ākonga completed their year-long bean project last week with a harvest and tasting session! Their project centered around the question ‘will our beans grow in winter?’. Students grew their beans under plastic, cardboard, frost cloth and nothing at all to see the results. The biggest, juiciest beans were grown under frost cloth!They reaped their rewards by tasting the beans raw, cooked (in and out of the pods), and mashed with garlic & parmesan!Ka Pai to all the students for their hard work this year!
