This term ākonga from M1 and M2 are completing the Wonder Project's 'Power Challenge' learning how we power our towns, and designing & building their own windmills to power a mini town. They've also made ping pong ball launchers using paper cups and balloons! We are lucky enough to welcome Ella from Meridian Energy who is helping students with this project once a week as our Wonder Project Ambassador! This week she told us about her work as a mechanical engineer and helped us learn about different types of energy.Students also learned about elastic potential energy and kinetic energy!
