M3 are exploring World War I, focusing on how the ideas and actions of people in the past have shaped lives, identities, and global events. They are investigating the causes and effects of large-scale conflicts and considering their lasting impact.

With a strong emphasis on learner agency, students have the freedom to choose how they present their understandings. Their projects take a variety of forms, including dioramas, academic reports, posters, and scale models, allowing them to engage with history in creative and meaningful ways.  After planning their projects and learning academic vocabulary related to it, learners this week made a solid start on the more practical aspects of the project.

We hope to share these projects with whanau early next term.
