Our Year 12 and 13 students have the valuable opportunity to spend the day with Tracey Scott from the Peace Foundation, learning the art of peer mediation.

Our Year 12 and 13 students are gaining valuable skills through peer mediation training, helping to create a more positive and supportive school environment. This program teaches students how to mediate conflicts among their peers, strengthening their communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.

Beyond conflict resolution, peer mediation fosters leadership and teamwork, boosting students’ confidence and preparing them for future careers. It also encourages a culture of respect and cooperation, reducing misunderstandings and promoting inclusivity. By taking on this important role, students actively contribute to a school community where everyone feels heard and valued.

The skills developed through peer mediation—such as emotional intelligence and effective communication—will benefit students well beyond their school years, preparing them for both academic success and future professional challenges.
