It was inspiring to see so many athletes push their limits, whether sprinting down the track, soaring through the air in long jump, or giving their all in the throwing events. The energy was electric, amplified by the incredible support from parents and visitors who cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines. The weather held out just in time, allowing for a brilliant day of competition. A huge congratulations to Ruataniwha for claiming the top spot in a fiercely contested event, with Ōhau and Pukaki close behind.

It was also great to finally debut the school marquee, made possible thanks to the Meridian Power Up Fund. A huge thank you to everyone who assisted in putting it together—it looked like a challenging task, but the end result was fantastic! Once again, a massive thank you to all our staff who put in an enormous effort throughout the day, from arriving at 7 a.m. to set up to packing everything away at the end. Your dedication and hard work made this day a huge success!
