Last week, the Junior School opened its classrooms to the community to showcase a term of exciting learning. This term, students explored aspects of New Zealand history, including local events and significant national disasters.

Each classroom presented unique and engaging displays:

  • Rooms 5 and 6 showcased impressive models of dams.
  • Room 9 presented a variety of exhibits on NZ disasters, highlighting fascinating facts they had discovered.
  • Room 13 featured hands-on experiments, including water tornado demonstrations, a tsunami experiment, and creative displays around the room.
  • Room 4 produced research projects about NZ disasters, with some students even creating their own podcasts.
  • Room 7 shared stunning artwork inspired by NZ disasters.

A huge thank-you to our community for supporting and celebrating the students’ learning journey!
