TAS Jump Jam took place on November 29th and what a hit it was! It was super impressive to see so many of our tamariki get up and give this a try, especially in front of the large crowd.

We were also lucky enough to get a special video recording from the Jump Jam Man himself, Brett Fairweather. He gave us some excellent pointers on how we can best present ourselves to get the most out of our performance.

A big congratulations to Room 7 who were the reigning champions, Room 9 who was awarded runner up and to our special award winners, Florence Poshyvay - Most Stylish dancer, Elizabeth Borick and Ivy Reid - Most enthusiastic dancer and Joe Pernikskie and Alakai Fox - Best Precision.

Thank you to all the teachers who organised time in their day to practise the routines, Thank you for Chels who stepped up last minute to MC, Thank you to Ms Saunders for being on sound and lighting, Thank you to our amazing judges, Mrs M, Mr White and Mrs Sweney and a big thank you to all the parents, caregivers and community members for coming along to support the tamariki as well as making donations to go towards the Jump Jam Extravaganza in Timaru next year!
