Last Thursday, students, teachers, and the wider school community came together for the highly anticipated 2024 School Fun Run. With an exciting blend of vibrant color, music, and a few surprises, the day brought together everything we hoped.

The weather kept us all on edge but held out just long enough for the event to unfold smoothly, adding to the excitement of the day. The South Canterbury Arch added a festive atmosphere as runners tackled the course, surrounded by splashes of colour and cheers from the crowd.

One of the most unforgettable highlights was the involvement of the Twizel Fire Brigade, who kindly provided two tankers to introduce a thrilling water element to the event. Students ran, danced, and dodged through streams of water, making for plenty of laughs and memories that will be cherished for years to come.

A huge thank you goes out to the Twizel Fire Brigade for their generous support, as well as to all volunteers and participants who helped make the day such a success. It was heartwarming to see our school come together in full force, celebrating fitness, fun, and friendship. Here’s to many more events like this one, bringing a splash of color and joy to our school community!

The total amount fundraised was $6305.00, which will go towards next year's Ice skating and SAS Tournament. Congratulations to Keziah Fox, who raised $1000.00, our biggest fundraiser!
