After the Term Three postponement, Netty Fest went ahead in Oamaru during the first week of term, with two groups of students from Years 5-8 taking part in the two-day event. 🏐 On Wednesday, 16 October, and Thursday, 17 October, students from Years 5 and 6 (Wednesday) and Years 7 and 8 (Thursday) went to Oamaru for the annual North Otago NettyFest. It was great to take three of our Year 9 and 10 students with us as umpires. They did an outstanding job of controlling the games in what was, for most of them, their first or second time umpiring. All of our teams performed extremely well on the day and were even commended by other schools on their conduct both on and off the court.A huge thank you to the parents who came as drivers and team supervisors, as well as to the parents who organised our costumes.
