Last week, the Junior School met before their Wellbeing session to talk about our School values, particularly Awhinataka and Kaitiakitaka. We talked about showing kindness in the playground and treating each other with care. One of the wellbeing groups has been working on Kaitiakitaka and giving back to the community. They have been making cards for people. It was lovely to see Poppy Reid make a card for Suzanne, one of our lovely ladies in the library. This is putting our WAKA values into real life. Well done to Poppy and the Kaitiakitaka wellbeing group.
