Room 5 students have been thoroughly immersed in their Olympic-themed topic this term. Last week, they had the unique opportunity to interview Jorja Miller, a member of the NZ Women’s Rugby Sevens team.

The students have been closely following Jorja and her team's progress, with some even rising at 5:45 a.m. to watch the New Zealand women’s team successfully fight for the gold medal against a strong Canadian side.

Jorja’s dedication and success have truly inspired our younger tamariki, demonstrating that with hard work and determination, they too can reach their dreams. Her achievements serve as a powerful reminder of the impact of perseverance and the influence of positive role models.
