Teachers will be able to complete their Accord Teacher Only Day requirements. 

In the morning, for our Junior Team, this looks like extending their DMIC and Literacy Pedagogical Skills; for the Senior Team, we have our NCEA change facilitators working with us on across-school programmes to support the new Literacy and Numeracy Co-requisite requirements at NCEA Level 1. Fortunately for Twizel Area School, 75% of our Level 1 students have already gained this qualification, and our current Year 10 cohort are awaiting the results of their first try at the external assessment. 

In the afternoon, the staff will come together for a Learning Village (ESOL - English as a Second Language) training session led by Clare Frost and Freya Haanen.
