Deputy Head Student Ella Ferguson looks at the (too close to call) Twizel House Shield competition. πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’™

What an incredible term it has been! It's hard to believe it's already come to a close. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the students and teachers for contributing to such a fantastic start to the year during Term 1.

This week, we had the privilege of learning from the wonderful team at Te Ana Māori Rock Art Centre. They enriched our understanding of traditional Māori pathways around Te Waipounamu, the bountiful marine resources, and the captivating rock art in our vicinity. I believe I echo the sentiments of all students in saying that it was an immensely enjoyable experience.

Tomorrow, I eagerly anticipate attending both the junior and senior assemblies. Witnessing students receive their well-deserved awards will undoubtedly be a moment of pride and celebration for us all. The competition for the Twizel House Shield is fierce, with the points tally incredibly close. It will be intriguing to see who emerges victorious.

As we embark on this break, I wish each and every one of you a joyful, rejuvenating, and healthy rest. Until next term, take care and see you soon!

Ella Ferguson,
Deputy Head Student
