Last Thursday, our school had the exciting opportunity to host a sport skydiving demonstration by the skilled team from Skydive Mount Cook. After months of planning and securing necessary approvals, the demonstration finally took place on our very own school field. At 1:30 pm, students gathered as the skydivers took to the skies. With just a minute's notice, a group of daredevils jumped from a plane overhead, forming an impressive circle before landing gracefully one by one.The students watched in awe as the instructors landed and took the time to chat with them about their gear and experiences. Some students even got to try on the helmets before the skydiving team had to depart to take paying customers for their jumps.A big thank you to the Skydive Mount Cook team for organizing this thrilling event for our school!
