It was a picture-perfect day for the Twizel Area School Athletics Day last Thursday and we saw some great performances and even better sportsmanship from everyone involved! Students from Room 4 and above competed in various events on the track and off. Students compete in Under 11, Under 12½, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 19. Athletes in Year 7 and above are selected from the day's results to compete at Country High Schools Athletics, which will be held in Geraldine early next month.Points can be collected for their house by participating as well as placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in an event.
