Two Curriculum Leads from the Christchurch Ministry of Education office are coming to deliver professional learning for our teaching staff that will support their continued preparation towards the new curriculum. While this is another day that the school is closed, this is a day that the Ministry has set aside for all schools in the country. The new curriculum involves some big pedagogical shifts, which are in the best interests of all our students - but which take time to not only get a solid understanding of, but also to resource. 

We again appreciate your understanding in allowing us to spend this time as a staff working together on a common goal - the best learning experience for all our students. We will also be joined by the Aoraki Mt Cook School teachers, which is a wonderful opportunity for us to continue developing connections with our neighbouring schools.
