This week Year 1 to 8 ākonga took part in the ASB St John in Schools program, where they learned how to respond in an emergency. 🏥 They took part in a range of different activities like identifying what an emergency is, how to put someone in the recovery position, when to call 111 and lots more! It was awesome for the ākonga to participate in this important lesson as they have now developed some core skills and knowledge to prepare for emergencies.
