Students in Rooms 9 and 13 have been immersing themselves in the fascinating world of New Zealand's native bird species and their survival challenges. 🦅 Some of these remarkable birds are on the brink of endangerment. To deepen their understanding, the students delved into the captivating book, "Squishy, Squashy Birds," which boasts breathtaking illustrations that seemingly bring these birds to life within the pages.Inspired by the book and armed with a creative spirit, the students from both Room 13 and Room 9 embarked on a hands-on journey to craft their own Squishy Squashy birds using the vibrant medium of oil pastels.
