Room 8 students visited the Twizel Fire Station last week as a "thank you" for the cards they wrote after the recent fire at Pukaki. This was instigated by Cruz, who thought we needed to thank them for all the work they had done. 🙏 This was such a great opportunity for Room 8 to get up and close with all the equipment, including the lights and sirens, and ask all sorts of questions. We are lucky to have such an awesome brigade, and the students were absolutely buzzing from this experience. What a great way of showing our WAKA Values and connecting with our community! 👨🚒🧯
