The students in Room 4 have been fully immersed in the enchanting world of "The Carnival of the Animals," a musical masterpiece composed by Camille Saint-Saëns, who once resided in the vibrant city of Paris (coincidentally, the current host of the Rugby World Cup!). This musical journey has been a delightful experience for them.

They've explored the lively rhythms and melodies inspired by various animals, each with its unique character. From the exuberant kangaroo bouncing to the beat to the graceful and serene swan gliding smoothly across the musical waters. They've also marvelled at the deep, rumbling tones of the elephant and the majestic roar of the lion. The donkey's hee-haw, the flowing melodies of the fish, and the fast-paced crowing of hens and roosters all added to their musical adventure. The eerie, clinky, and rattly bones of fossils brought a touch of intrigue.

A highlight of this musical journey was a fascinating visit to the Science Lab, guided by Ms. Arkless, where they delved into the intricacies of the skeleton and other vital internal structures that reside within us all. It was an eye-opening experience, reminding them of the marvels hidden beneath our skin.

Furthermore, the students indulged their creative spirits by crafting and colouring animals that harmoniously danced along with the music, adding a visual dimension to their auditory exploration. It's been an enriching and immersive journey into the world of music and anatomy, sparking their curiosity and creativity in delightful ways.
