Head Student Billy Garbutt has some reminders for senior students studying towards their mock exams, while looking forward to the SISS netball and a new sporting timetable.

Welcome back to another week at Twizel Area School, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the winter landscapes of our beautiful Te Manahuna. Work continues in our school as derived grade exams draw ever closer, D-Day is Week 9 (Week 8 for NetNZ students), so remain diligent with your studying, Haere Tonu everyone!


The South Island Secondary Schools Netball Tournament is taking place next week. This is an amazing opportunity for our students to express WAKA values in a competitive environment. Kia Kaha to everyone going to this event!

A heads up to students interested in sporting events in the school community, a timetable featuring all regular sporting events going on around the school will be published soon.
