As part of this year's Conservation Week, the Twizel Bookshop's ‘Take Action for Nature’ art competition for kids is now open for entries. The competition is open for children aged 5-12 until 20th August.

Children are invited to create original artwork of what taking action for nature looks like or what they can do to take action for nature. It can also be a drawing of one of the many threatened native animals or plants, along with a short-written component on their creation, including their age, name, phone number and/or email address.

This is a fantastic opportunity for primary school children to unleash their artistic creativity while learning about Aotearoa’s threatened animals and plants – and the threats facing them.

Drawings can be dropped at The Twizel Bookshop in Twizel by 20th August.

The winner will be announced Monday 21st August.
