On Tuesday of this week, Junior School students had a visit from Mrs A (of Mrs A's Music School, Timaru). The focus for all was on "the beat", and each Junior class, in turn, had fun creating beat patterns (ostinato) and layering patterns using a variety of instruments, including voice. 🥁🎶 Class teachers also took part and observed, getting ideas to practise and develop music in their classrooms. Students listened well, took part wholeheartedly, showed great teamwork and made creative music.Much fun was had on a creative, musical day! Ka pai everyone, and thank you, Mrs A.
