Room 13 students have been learning about Tāwhirimātea and the story of Matariki. We have been creating an artwork with Tāwhirimātea and the Matariki cluster above the mountains. Students used watercolour paints to paint the mountains and Tāwhirimātea, then cut them out with a white border and glued them onto the black paper. They then painted on the Matariki cluster and other stars with paint markers.

I think you'll agree, their artwork is fantastic. Ka pai Room 13!
