This week, students in Rooms 4 and 5 participated in the Internal Schools EPro8 Challenge, with the main objective of the challenge being to construct a Dunking Machine. This required teams to work together effectively, following specific criteria in order to complete the challenge.

Throughout the activity, students showcased their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). By incorporating these disciplines, EPro8 promotes a hands-on learning approach that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. As the teams progressed, they earned points for accomplishing each part of the task, which added an element of competition and motivation.

A practice session was held on Monday morning to ensure everyone was prepared, allowing students to familiarise themselves with the materials and understand the challenge requirements. This opportunity enhanced their technical skills and fostered their ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within their groups.

Overall, the EPro8 Challenge provided an engaging platform for our students to apply their knowledge and creativity in a fun and stimulating manner. It promoted STEM education and instilled important life skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance.

Ka pai to all the students for their superb mahi!
