Room 9 students' math lessons took an exciting turn this week as they shifted their focus from fractions to the captivating realm of probability! 🧮

During our Wednesday class, we started understanding the concept of chances and how to keep track of our findings by playing a game of Heads or Tails.

Each student was allowed to flip the coin ten times and observe whether it landed on heads or tails. It was an opportunity for everyone to actively participate and discover the different outcomes that can occur when flipping a coin.

As we recorded our results, we learned how to keep track of the number of times we got heads and the number of times we got tails. This practice helped us understand the concept of probability better. We realised that probability is all about determining the chances of different outcomes.

Flipping the coin allowed the students to develop important skills, such as observation, data recording, and critical thinking.

It was great to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of our Room 9 mathematicians as they eagerly flipped coins, shared their findings, and learned together.
