The Don’t Get Sucked In Poster challenge is an art competition for Year 7 – 13 students organised by the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ.   They are asking young people to design a poster to highlight the risks of vaping to rangatahi.  This competition is an opportunity to learn more about vaping harm and share this information in a creative and impactful way.

The overall winner will receive a $300 Prezzy card plus $100 worth of art supplies. Their winning entry will feature on the cover of the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation’s Better Breathing magazine and be made available as a downloadable resource for schools and community groups on the Don’t Get Sucked In website.  In addition, Foundation Chief Executive Letitia Harding and Māori Community Liaison Sharon Pihema will visit the winning artist’s school to present their prize and run an interactive vaping education workshop for a group of up to 30 rangatahi, by approval of the school principal.

The four runners-up will each receive a $50 Prezzy card plus $100 worth of art supplies.  Their posters will be made available as downloadable resources for schools and community groups on the Don’t Get Sucked In website.
