It was the turn of M3 to go on camp to the South Temple Hut last week. 🏕️ You can read all about it from Year 9 student Jazmine Baikie's perspective, she took some pretty cool photos too! On Monday, 13th March 2023 M3 set off to go camping at the South Temple Hut. We tramped for 3-4 hours crossing rivers, going through slug, and rough terrain to eventually reach our destination. We set up tents and make a lovely meal with alfredo and noodles. The second day was cold, there was ice in the tents and everyone was looking like they wanted to go home. We ventured around the area to find a beautiful waterfall, then travelled through sharp and prickly bushes. By the time we got back to the hut, our legs were scraped and sore and we were all tired and ready to go home the next day. Packing up we pulled down our tents, put stuff into bags and cleaned up around the place. Overall it was a great experience and quite fun.By Jazmine Baikie
