Head and Deputy Students, Billy and Fred, look forward to a busy week of sports and science trips as the weather starts to turn colder! 🏐 👩‍🔬 🥶

Kia ora,

We hope everyone is having a great week so far, I’m sure most are getting so close to the end of the term. Despite the encroaching holidays, we still have a lot going on at school, with more to come. From camps to science trips, the term is still packed with things for the students to look forward to and express WAKA values in.

On Monday this week, the M2 class left on their camp. They're doing okay relative to the weather we have been having, Kia Kaha everyone! This week has also been intense for those still at school, as this week we had Yr 11-13 mentor meetings, good for some, alarming for others, Kia Kaha to those people as well!

Things are still good in the sporting and science world, however. As of today, Thursday, we have both the Aoraki Volleyball and the Portobello Science Trip for Yr 13 Biology. Fight hard and be good sports all of you on the Volleyball team, and enjoy the learning, Yr 13 Biology!

Next week the Maadi Cup Rowing Regatta goes from Monday to Saturday, all the best to those participating in that. You can check out the schedule and results here: http://rowit.nz/mads2023/schedule
