I was lucky enough to accompany 20 of our students to Kurow to compete against Duntroon, Waitaki Valley and Omarama schools. It was a fun bus trip and I even had a little sleep on the way.Harriet, Seb, Henry W, Henry S and Louis from Room 4 were in the swimming events. Harriet got second in freestyle and she swam 25 metres. Seb got first in freestyle and third in backstroke, first in breaststroke. Louis got fourth in breaststroke, and freestyle and got into the finals. Henry S got first in the freestyle heats and Henry W got third in breaststroke. On the drive back to school the van I was in got ice cream and Chelse was kind enough to buy me the ice cream. It was way too hot for me to handle.By Mia Ross, age 8
