We were incredibly lucky to have a visit from Olympic Ambassador Emma Twigg on Monday. 🚣‍♀️ 🥇 🖤 Emma spoke to our year 3-6 students and our 14 rowers.

She brought with her a gold medal that she won at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. All the students had a hold of this and couldn't believe how heavy it was.  Emma informed us it was Gold plated and made from electronic waste.

She spoke about disappointment and success and how to push through these emotions.  Our rowers were given some strategies for the Nationals regatta that they are currently taking place in and really appreciated these.

Thank you Emma for taking the time out of your schedule to visit our school.
