Room 8 students have been having fun learning about rhythm and sound by beating out patterns on the drum/bucket, using sticks kindly crafted by Mr Van M. 🥁 🪘 They have begun learning about symbols for notes on music staves, rest symbols, R for right-hand and L for left-hand and where to strike the bucket/drum…rim, top or side.Students are learning that listening carefully and concentrating well are good skills to have as part of a ”Bucket Orchestra”. Great bucket-beating Room 8!
