Yug has been selected and will therefore represent Twizel Area School. He is part of the Twizel Junior Tennis Club, affiliated to the North Otago Tennis Association and is a highly-ranked tennis player in his age group in North Otago.

Yug is a very keen tennis player who spends a lot of time practising and travels to coaching and tournaments when available. He participates in the Hot Shots programme (run by Tennis NZ), run here in Twizel, which offers weekly sessions and coaching once per month with a professional tennis coach.

We believe Yug will do very well in his tennis career with his passion and commitment to the sport. It is a pleasure to see him advancing with his style and determination.

Representing Twizel Area School at the Southern Primary Schools Championship means Yug has a chance to qualify for the South Island Final in Ashburton later in November.
