Monday this week was Dress-Up Day at Twizel Area School. Tamariki, rangatahi and kaiako were encouraged to dress in whatever costume, outfit or clothes they desired...all for the good cause of KidsCan New Zealand.

KidsCan is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading charity dedicated to helping Kiwi kids affected by poverty. They help tamariki experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes and health products to schools and early childhood centres across New Zealand.

With these essentials, kids can participate in learning and have the opportunity for a better future.

From the Hulk to Spiderman, pirates to witches, devils to unicorns, most things weird and wonderful were represented at school on Monday.

At the end of the day, the total raised was $180, a great effort for a great cause!
