The nerves were rife in the early hours of the morning but as the day progressed and everyone got that scary first race over and done with the excitement and self-belief started to creep in. And for good reason as race after race, their times and places improved greatly.

They rowed Singles, Doubles and Quads with each crew successfully making the A&B finals.

Luca, our most experienced rower had an extremely successful regatta winning the Under 15 singles sculls. Way to go Luca!

This is an exciting start to the season and I can’t wait to see the kids shine again at the next regatta.
