As part of Te wiki o te reo Māori, we held a House Waiata Competition yesterday afternoon. Everything fell into place and the Twizel Area School ākonga pulled off an amazing event. Ka pai! Well done to our waiata leaders; Luke Mackenzie, Dave White & Noah Sheridan, and Harry Riley. Everyone did a great job and our judges were equally impressed: "We are just stoked to be a part of this day and it was amazing to see everyone who contributed to the event"The winning house was PUKAKI.
